in our collections that have fascinating stories to them.
We have, for instance, a HUGE slab of pure mica
on display from the local mica mine.
Kids walk to it and bring back samples.
Very heavy, and without fractures,
it is probably five feet across

Things from the furtrade, early lumbering tools,
and we have a thriving Metis community here,
to get stories from their unique point of view.

None of this has as yet been done, and we need
the community to help us do it.

It will be a fairly long time before this yellow colour
will disappear when we have something to show you.
